SPECIFICALLY TAILORED FOR YOUTH AFFECTED BY JUSTICE

Every young person deserves a second chance to rewrite their story. Our programs for youth in the justice system are designed to do just that—using golf as a powerful tool to foster personal growth, self-discipline, and positive change for young people navigating difficult circumstances.

These programs are specifically tailored for youth affected by the justice system, offering them a constructive outlet and a chance to rebuild their lives with purpose, confidence, and support.

WHAT IS INVOLVED WITH YOUTH IN THE JUSTICE SYSTEM PROGRAMS?

Our Youth in the Justice System Programs use the structure and discipline of golf to help young individuals find a positive outlet for their energy, emotions, and challenges. By partnering with correctional facilities, juvenile justice centers, and reintegration programs, we allow these young people to learn the game of golf while learning the values that can help them transition back into society successfully as active, hard-working citizens.

Each participant is guided by experienced coaches and volunteers who teach the technical aspects of golf—like swing mechanics and course strategy—and provide mentorship and emotional support. This holistic approach helps youth affected by the justice system see the possibilities of a brighter future while learning practical skills that will serve them in all areas of life.

HOW WILL THIS PROGRAM HELP YOUTH AFFECTED BY THE JUSTICE SYSTEM?

Our program goes beyond just teaching golf. We are committed to helping youth affected by the justice system develop the tools they need to reintegrate into their communities and avoid the pitfalls that led them to trouble in the first place. Here’s how our program makes a difference:

  • Instilling responsibility and self-discipline to help youth take control of their lives and make the right choices for their life in the future.
  • Offer youth a new, productive outlet to experience personal achievements and set goals.
  • Learn to overcome challenges and handle setbacks with grace and resilience, skills that are critical for reintegration and personal growth.
  • Develop positive relationships with mentors, peers, and the community.
  • Expose youth affected by the justice system to new possibilities for their future, including scholarships, career opportunities, and further education.

We aim to show them that they have the potential to succeed in life beyond the confines of their past mistakes.
